If a file is loaded the 2nd time from the storage from the c:\(ssd raid 0) then cached by supercache5 (lost at power down) if it hits (3.4g ram used) it load at 3000 6000mb/sec, or it loads at 1000mb/sec Ssd raid 0 give me 1000mb/sec for windows 7 ( games that are hardlink from steam origin folder) My setup complicated, but iv perfected the speed stability vs hit cache ratio (vs hdd load) ( bug set ram use max at 4095mb not 4096) Note click rebuild after you loaded a program(or restart pc) to test the difference.before after results Try a trial e the speedo move see the benchmark diff (eboostr add a 1sec delay to bootup to lod up 4g memory cache from c:\) if main ram used.)Ģ eboostr pro is a better option(you will see more improvements, like firefox games word adobe photoshop/autocad etc, it loads from cache first(based on load history) pre fetch, (ram/faster storage) cached data remembers at startup/shutdown, if big enough will cache data in it, will check to see if data is in it first, if so loads data from faster storage. Supercache5/fancycache (supercache goes under a diff name as well)Ģ. great for rep data loads (only as good as cache size) if files(or file is) bigger than cache, does not cache. disk cache (ram) only remember data the 2nd time loaded, still loads from storage first.
